Interested in reading about horses?

This blog is all about horse books which are available on Amazon, mainly as eBooks for your Kindle but there are also paper books as well. Each day, free eBooks are updated for that day - grab them quick (no limit on the number given away on the day it is free). If you don't have a Kindle but want a free Kindle reading app from Amazon, click the link below (yes, it is free). It only takes a few minutes to get one on your computer, laptop, Android, iPhone or iPad and allows you to access the million or so eBooks available on Amazon. All links on this blog are safe ones which will only take you to Amazon.

Please let your friends and forums know about this blog - the more books that can be given away, the more the authors are promoted, which is why they agree to make them free for a few days. (And if you don't have a Kindle... consider one - I bought one for me, one for my daughter and a third for my 75 year old mother, and I linked the accounts so that every book I buy or pick up for free can be put on any or all Kindles. All of us love our Kindles!)

Recommended Reading for Horse People

(Today's free books are in the post below this one.)
Here are four great horse books. They are all available as either eBooks to download right now (prices are listed) or you can order them in paper form through the same link. Remember - you can download a free sample of each of these books if you want to see if they'll suit you or not - no obligation to buy (I'm always downloading free samples - if I like them, I buy; if I'm not overly fussed, I just delete the sample or store it in a 'think about it later' folder).
Greatness and Goodness: Barabaro and His Legacy: a great racing tale about one of the great race horses. $8.99 as an eBook. $19.79 hardcover.
For the Love of the Horse, Volume III: a wonderful collection of true stories about horses. It's only $2.99 for the eBook and $14.00 as a paperback.
Considering the Horse: Tales of Problems Solved and Lessons Learned: resolving many problems with horses by looking at them from the horse's point of view. Every horse person can learn something from this. A western leaning, but English riders will benefit as well.  $9.99 as an eBook. $17.70 for the paper version.
The Complete Book of Foaling - one of those 'must haves' for anyone breeding or thinking of breeding a foal.  $19.22 as an eBook. $23.07 as a hardback.
