Interested in reading about horses?

This blog is all about horse books which are available on Amazon, mainly as eBooks for your Kindle but there are also paper books as well. Each day, free eBooks are updated for that day - grab them quick (no limit on the number given away on the day it is free). If you don't have a Kindle but want a free Kindle reading app from Amazon, click the link below (yes, it is free). It only takes a few minutes to get one on your computer, laptop, Android, iPhone or iPad and allows you to access the million or so eBooks available on Amazon. All links on this blog are safe ones which will only take you to Amazon.

Please let your friends and forums know about this blog - the more books that can be given away, the more the authors are promoted, which is why they agree to make them free for a few days. (And if you don't have a Kindle... consider one - I bought one for me, one for my daughter and a third for my 75 year old mother, and I linked the accounts so that every book I buy or pick up for free can be put on any or all Kindles. All of us love our Kindles!)

The eBooks in this post are absolutely free. The authors give them away for a day or two as part of their sales promotion, hoping that the give-aways generate good reviews and star ratings which will then kick on their sales once the books are no longer free. Free books usually range between 99c and $19.99, so on any day we can have from $40 to over $100 worth of free eBooks to give away, and the authors want to give away as many as possible, so please tell your friends and forums about it. If you don't have a Kindle, you can get a free Kindle reader from the banner at the top of this page and it only takes a minute to download to your computer, iPhone, iPad, Android, etc.

Books that have something to do with horses (sometimes as little as a character who rides a horse... we don't often get books that are written totally about horses on the give away lists, but I do look for them):

Books that have nothing to do with horses, but they're free, they're good, and you might like them:

Some classics that are always free in Amazon... if you haven't read them, you should consider it as they are beautifully written books by authors who took writing to an art form. No, they are not 'easy reads' like some of the one-sentence-one-paragraph stuff that hits our eyes like Sesame Street easy-to-understand simple-stuff, some of the sentences are long and convoluted and the paragraphs can take up most of a page and sometimes you really have to think... and that is good for you.
