Interested in reading about horses?

This blog is all about horse books which are available on Amazon, mainly as eBooks for your Kindle but there are also paper books as well. Each day, free eBooks are updated for that day - grab them quick (no limit on the number given away on the day it is free). If you don't have a Kindle but want a free Kindle reading app from Amazon, click the link below (yes, it is free). It only takes a few minutes to get one on your computer, laptop, Android, iPhone or iPad and allows you to access the million or so eBooks available on Amazon. All links on this blog are safe ones which will only take you to Amazon.

Please let your friends and forums know about this blog - the more books that can be given away, the more the authors are promoted, which is why they agree to make them free for a few days. (And if you don't have a Kindle... consider one - I bought one for me, one for my daughter and a third for my 75 year old mother, and I linked the accounts so that every book I buy or pick up for free can be put on any or all Kindles. All of us love our Kindles!)

FREE eBOOKS TODAY

These eBooks are free to download at the time of writing - just check that they are still $0.00 when you look at them (some will be free for several days, some will only be free for a day). For information about how to get them or why they're free, read some past 'free today' posts - it's just a way author's promote their books, no catches, and some of the books go on to be best sellers.

Books that have something to do with horses:

I usually only have the Amazon links here as they are easy to do - all in the one place - but here's a link to a great book which is free at present over on Smashwords. Dr A. Nyland's wonderful book, Horse and Donkey Worms and Worming. Dr A. Nyland is our very own Ann Nyland from Armidale who owns and breeds gorgeous Arabian horses (and now has a 'niece' of our two stallions, Days Of Gold and Nights Of Gold) and writes some great horse books... she's just told me that her How To Care For A Rescue Horse book will be free some time tomorrow on Kindle, so I'm keeping an eye out for that. Ann is a totally amazing person and is one of the world's leading translators of ancient texts as she is able to bring them into modern English without losing the original intent or tone of the authors' words and she does not need to modify, alter or 'tweak' them to suit the desires of a particular religion or employer (many ancient Hebrew, Greek or Latin texts have been translated with a slant to match the views of whoever pays for the translation,  usually a particular religion, but Ann does them with unbiased academic expertise.) If you are interested in any of her other books - and I found one of them free today (last book below), then search around Amazon for, 'Dr A Nyland' or 'Ann Nyland' and find dozens of them!
