Interested in reading about horses?

This blog is all about horse books which are available on Amazon, mainly as eBooks for your Kindle but there are also paper books as well. Each day, free eBooks are updated for that day - grab them quick (no limit on the number given away on the day it is free). If you don't have a Kindle but want a free Kindle reading app from Amazon, click the link below (yes, it is free). It only takes a few minutes to get one on your computer, laptop, Android, iPhone or iPad and allows you to access the million or so eBooks available on Amazon. All links on this blog are safe ones which will only take you to Amazon.

Please let your friends and forums know about this blog - the more books that can be given away, the more the authors are promoted, which is why they agree to make them free for a few days. (And if you don't have a Kindle... consider one - I bought one for me, one for my daughter and a third for my 75 year old mother, and I linked the accounts so that every book I buy or pick up for free can be put on any or all Kindles. All of us love our Kindles!)

SOME GREAT EASTER READING

Today's free eBooks are in the post below this one.  These eBooks are not free, but their prices are reasonable and they are very popular and have good reviews.

Spirit Horses - it was free last week for a day and I've read it already... there were a few places where the text did not flow easily, but it was a great read and I couldn't put it down. Well worth the $2.99 (and the author really knows horses - excellent details about handling horses).

Dark Horse is an enjoyable murder/mystery read, and only 99c - great value for that price! As a horse person, I found a few little points that weren't quite correct, but managed to ignore them to enjoy the 'who dunnit' tale.

Greatness and Goodness: Barbaro is only $8.99 in digital form - considering you'll pay $29.99 for the paper version, that's a great saving. A very popular book and of particular interest to anyone who likes racehorses.

Secretariat's Meadow is another beauty - yes, those who love racehorses will be really interested, but you can just enjoy a good book and still appreciate this one. $9.99 (but that's a big saving on it's $29.99 print price).

The Dressage Chronicles are very popular - and the $9.99 Kindle price is about a $10 saving off the print price

For The Love Of The Horse is another great read at only 99c - a huge saving on the $17.95 print price

Horses Of The Sun is the first in the series of The Outback Riders - an easy and exciting read for children, young adults as well as adults with an emotional edge that will sweep you up into the outback saga. Only $2.99.

Flame The Fire Horse is a collection of short stories about horses. Only $1.99 and a great read for horse lovers of all ages, particularly younger readers.
